The CWU's Education and Training centre, Alvescot Lodge, is situated on the edge of the Cotswolds twenty miles west of Oxford,
and the Elstead Hotel in Bournemouth close to the sea and other amenities. Alvescot Lodge is open for residential Education
and Training courses for CWU members throughout the year. Members can enjoy swimming (outdoor heated pool), tennis, croquet,
three hole pitch and putt golf, table tennis, darts, pool and other 'pub' games.
